The Cavendish London is a 230 bedroom 4-star deluxe hotel, perfectly located in the heart of central London's Piccadilly, equidistant from Green Park and Piccadilly Circus stations.
We are a contemporary hotel, with great facilities, including 5 well equipped & stylish Meeting/Conference Rooms, a relaxing Lounge and Cocktail Bar and fine dining restaurant.
We are seeking a passionate, organised and professional Chef de Partie with a passion for food excellence to join our hotel.
On any given shift, you will be required to:
• Co-ordinate and supervise the smooth running of your section of the kitchen, to ensure all food service areas achieve a consistently high standard of food presentation suitable to that of an ambitious 4 star Hotel
• Take responsibility for your designated section of the kitchen while demonstrating solid culinary skills and consistency in food production
• Manage careful control of food stocks to preserve quality and minimise wastage and ensure full mise en place for the next service
• Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt, organised and efficient manner
To be successful as Chef de Partie ideally you must have:
• Ability to work without supervision and manage your own section
• Excellent timing and planning skills
• A good command of English is essential
• Experience as a Chef de Partie is preferable or a Demi Chef de Partie ready to progress
