Description

The Cavendish London is a 230 bedroom 4-star deluxe hotel, perfectly located in the heart of central London's Piccadilly, equidistant from Green Park and Piccadilly Circus stations. 

We are a contemporary hotel, with great facilities, including 5 well equipped & stylish Meeting/Conference Rooms, along with the Mayfair Lounge & Grill, providing a fine dining experience. 

Reporting to the Hotel General Manager, our Front of House Manager is responsible for the smooth and effective running of the Front Office, Concierge and Housekeeping departments, working closely with Maintenance and the external food & beverage provider.

As Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating and communicating effectively to the team aiming for high performance
  • Supports with Financial Management (budgeting, forecasting, site accounts, commercial requirements)
  • Work closely with Revenue Management & Sales to align with strategy and ensure operations is able to provide customer service offering
  • Ensure compliance, security, health & safety throughout the property as assumes role within crisis management proceedings
  • Make sure the appropriate standards and guidelines to adhered to, to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Be a point of escalation aiming to seek resolve for customer management

The ideal Front of House Manager candidate would have:

  • Ability to be flexible with working patterns to support the business during the week
  • Be self-motivated, highly responsible and professional and a team player
  • Previous experience in being a head of department within a hotel environment
  • Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced experience with Opera (our current PMS) is desirable
