Server/Waiter/Waitress

We are recruiting for a passionate and confident Restaurant Server to ensure quality and courteous service to the guests dining in the restaurant or attending a catering function.

Key responsibilities of the Restaurant Server will include:

• Ensure that tables and stations are set to the correct standard with all equipment spotlessly clean and polished
• Is totally familiar with all menu items available
• Take food and beverage orders from guests to the correct standard and up selling when appropriate
• Follow up with dining guest at the appropriate time and handle any special request promptly
• Offer and assist guest with service of hot and cold items from the Buffet when appropriate
• Perform duties as required for catering functions in the Library, the Boardroom, the Pavilion and room service.
• Answer the restaurant’s telephone when required, to company standards, taking reservations and/or messages.

The ideal candidate for the Restaurant Server position should:

• Have previous experience in a similar environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Have excellent communication skills
• Have an enthusiastic and positive attitude
