RBH

At RBH, we believe our people are our biggest assets and understand the value in putting them first. Our approach to diversity in the workplace, health & wellbeing, sustainability, and individuality sets us apart from our competitors and is one of the reasons we are rated Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality! At RBH, we don’t just offer jobs—we offer opportunities to grow, succeed, and be part of a team that’s redefining what it means to work in hospitality. Join us and discover why our people are at the heart of everything we do.

The Hotels

RBH is proud to operate two of Edinburgh’s most iconic hotels, now part of the globally recognised Marriott International brand. The Edinburgh Grand, located in the heart of the city’s vibrant New Town, is part of The Luxury Collection, reflecting its timeless elegance and rich character. Meanwhile, Old Town Chambers, with its unique blend of heritage charm and contemporary design, is part of the premium Autograph Collection, known for celebrating distinctive, one-of-a-kind hotels.

This rebranding under a leading international hotel group enhances the global profile of both properties and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Learning Coordinator

We are seeking a passionate and organised Learning Coordinator to support the delivery of world-class learning and development experiences across The Edinburgh Grand and Old Town Chambers. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the future of two unique luxury hotels now operating under Marriott International’s prestigious brands.

Reporting to the General Manager, and working closely with the HR Manager and department heads, you’ll help embed a strong learning culture that supports our commitment to exceptional service, employee growth, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supporting Learning Across Two Luxury Hotels:

  • Coordinate the rollout of Marriott brand training and property-specific onboarding, ensuring all new team members feel welcomed, informed, and inspired.

  • Track, monitor, and report on training completion and compliance, maintaining accurate learning records for both hotels.

  • Organise regular training sessions, learning events, and workshops—ensuring logistics, invites, materials, and feedback are well-managed.

Partnering with Managers:

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify training needs and support with delivering learning that enhances guest service and operational performance.

  • Assist managers with the tools and guidance needed to embed learning into daily operations, fostering a culture of coaching and development.

Celebrating Progress and Driving Growth:

  • Promote internal development opportunities and Marriott learning platforms, encouraging team members to take ownership of their progression.

  • Support delivery of recognition initiatives that celebrate training milestones and individual growth.

Supporting People Strategy:

  • Assist the HR Manager with initiatives that enhance engagement, career development, and compliance with brand standards.

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employees on all things training, development, and learning resources.

About You:

  • Experience in hospitality, learning coordination, training administration, or people-focused roles.

  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Confident using learning management systems and tracking tools—or willing to learn.

  • A passion for people development and delivering exceptional team experiences.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust across diverse teams.

  • A positive, can-do attitude with the flexibility to support across both hotel sites.

  • Previous exposure to Marriott systems or brand training is a bonus, but not essential.

You’ll also have the full support of the RBH central HR and L&D teams to help you succeed and grow in your own development journey.

Why This Role Matters:
As the Learning Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in nurturing the talent behind the guest experience. By supporting world-class training and development, you’ll help ensure every team member feels empowered, engaged, and confident in delivering exceptional luxury service.

Why You’ll Love This Role:
This is more than a coordination job—it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s careers. You’ll be part of a people-first team that values individuality, innovation, and growth, all while working in two truly inspiring hotel settings.

The Recruitment Process:
At RBH, we see recruitment as a two-way journey—an opportunity to connect with talented individuals and explore whether we’re the right fit for each other. Our Talent Acquisition Manager may invite you for a Teams pre-screening conversation. This is an opportunity not just for us to learn about your skills, but also for you to explore whether RBH aligns with your goals and values. If we’re a match, you’ll move on to a formal first-stage interview with our hiring managers in the coming weeks.

Perks You’ll Love:

  • Discounted hotel stays for you and your loved ones

  • An extra day off to celebrate your birthday in style

  • 30% off food and drink at RBH hotels

  • Refer a Friend scheme—earn up to £250 per referral

  • Wagestream—flexible access to your pay, when you need it

  • Life Insurance, Employee Assistance Programme, and year-round social and wellness events

  • Free meals on duty, saving you over £1000 per year

Equal Opportunities:
RBH Hospitality Management is an equal opportunity employer. We believe in hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive, people-first culture. If at any point throughout our process you require reasonable adjustment, please let us know.
