The Flatiron Room is seeking a qualified candidate with a passion for hospitality and a commitment to superior guest service to join our host/reservations team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Making reservations
-Accommodating guests with any special requests or needs
-Engaging with guests with a friendly and upbeat attitude
-Maintaining complete knowledge of dining room layout, dress code, hours of operation
-Answering phone calls
-Maintaining cleanliness of restrooms
Requirements:
-NYC host experience in the restaurant industry
-Proficient with OpenTable
-Have flexible schedule; must be able to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and phone skills
-Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
-Ensure guest satisfaction
-Attention to detail
-Superior hospitality skills
-Must have a team player attitude
-Works well under pressure
