As Maitre D’, the ideal candidate will need to consistently ensure guest satisfaction at all times. Responsibilities include managing guest service recovery as necessary, in a manner in keeping with the overall operating philosophy of The Inn, and parameters established by Inn management and ownership. To ensure VIP/CIP guest recognition throughout the staff and manage the guest check-in and arrival processes. Must take ownership of, and responsibility for, the daily log book report. During service, maintain consistent presence on the floor at all times, greeting and seating guests, monitoring flow of service and seating arrangements, ensuring positive guest experience and goodwill, and ensuring that each guest receives a fond farewell befitting The Inn’s reputation. As Maitre’D you must consistently serve as an ambassador for The Inn at Little Washington in your interactions with guests, employees, and the community at large—in short, anyone with whom you interact with.
