Grounds Attendant

The Seasonal Grounds Attendant position is a temporary appointment with flexible start dates through spring and early summer through late fall. The Seasonal Grounds Attendant works alongside the Gardens and Grounds team on a variety of garden and landscape maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, mowing, string trimming, leaf clean-up, sweeping, watering, weeding, mulching, planting, litter management, and special event set up. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.Associate’s Degree or certificate from a trade school in horticulture, landscape management, turf management, or related field or a minimum of one (1) year experience in the field of landscape maintenance may be substituted for the educational requirement. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
