Grounds Supervisor


Description
The Grounds Supervisor is responsible for a broad range of garden maintenance activities for the continued development and cultivation of the gardens at The Inn at Little Washington. This position reports to the Estate Gardener and provides ongoing support to the Grounds and Gardens team we well as other internal departments as needed. The chosen candidate will assist the Grounds and Gardens team in maintaining the health and care of permanent and seasonal displays, and expanding plant collections by performing a variety of garden maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, site/soil preparation, planting, transplanting, mulching, weeding, watering, Integrated Pest Management, pruning, snow removal, and special event preparation. An associate’s degree or recognized certificate in horticulture or related discipline from an accredited college, university or vocational program and 2 years’ experience working in a public garden setting, or equivalent experience.
