Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor it’s important to maintain AAA 5-Diamond, Forbes 5-Star standards for cleanliness and service for assigned cleaning areas in all guest rooms and public areas of the Inn. Housekeeping Supervisors are responsible to surpass guest expectations, anticipate guest needs and carry out duties in a timely, organized and thoughtful manner. Further, Housekeeping Supervisors are responsible to treat all guests and co-workers throughout the Inn with respect and always interact in a professional and hospitable manner. The ideal candidate agrees to keep all Inn information confidential, practice safe working techniques and is knowledgeable of all safety and emergency procedure. They will inspect guest rooms, public areas, etc. after being cleaned by Housekeepers to ensure quality standards. They will also be responsible for running sold room reports, verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, update status of departing guest rooms and assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison to coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry. It’s important to document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk and complete required paperwork. As Housekeeping Supervisor you will assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees. Must be able to clear a background check.
