Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to join our Housekeeping team.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Assistant Director of Housekeeping, who has the ability to deliver 5* service at all times. It is essential to have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who works well in a team and has excellent communication skills.

The main responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Housekeeping position are:
• To supervise work assignments to Floor Supervisors, Room Attendants and porters, in order to ensure maximum coverage.
• To perform regular guest room inspections.
• To ensure that soft furnishings and decor in the rooms are maintained to standard.
• Conduct staff meetings/seminars on a regular basis and attend Senior Head of Departments, P&L and Forecast meetings as and when required.
• To carry out spot checks of all other areas under Accommodation Services control to ensure areas are cleaned and maintained to standard.
• To liaise with Contract Cleaners to ensure all schedules are met and areas cleaned to standard.

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Director of Housekeeping requires the following:
• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience as Senior or HOD position in a similar sized property
• Ability to manage , coach and guide a large team
• Strong financial knowledge
• Approachable
• Strong and Level headed
