Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Banqueting Floor Beverage Manager to join our Conference and Banqueting team.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Banqueting Floor Beverage Manager, who has the ability to deliver 5* service at all times. It is essential to have a positive, ‘can do’ attitude and great attention to detail. We are looking for someone who works well in a team and has excellent communication skills.

The main responsibilities of this Banqueting Floor Beverage Manager position are:
• To handle clients and prospective clients in such a way that sales and profitability are maximised. To run functions to the best ability and to ensure that staff under your guidance is encouraged to improve their standards.
• To ensure that training in all aspects of banqueting work is carried out continuously.
• To ensure that staffing levels are maintained in accordance with company guidelines.
• To ensure that the quality and quantity of casual staff is in accordance with company guidelines.
• To recommend to the Director for selection, dismissal and promotion of all banqueting personnel.
• To ensure that his/her superior is advised of customer complaints at all times, to deal with or ensure that complaints from customers are dealt with immediately.
• To assist his/her superior in the execution of his/her duties and/or responsibilities at all times.
• To assist the Director of Operations to secure and control all stocks issued to the banqueting department and to supervise and control departmental billing and control procedures. To ensure that clients are accurately and honestly charged for the services they receive.
• To liaise with all other personnel in the hotel to ensure that maximum use is made of all available resources.
• To ensure that he/she carries out all reasonable duties allocated to him/her to company standards.
• Personal Licence Holder required

The ideal candidate for the Banqueting Floor Beverage Manager requires the following:
• Experience in 5* hotels or a prestigious restaurant
• A positive and friendly attitude
• To be punctual, efficient and courteous at all times with guests and fellow employees.
• Ability to work under pressure and still deliver a friendly service
• Fluency in English
• Polite and welcoming manners

As a Banqueting Floor Beverage Manager, you will be working with a dedicated and passionate Conference and Banqueting team and will report directly to the Director Banqueting Ops.
