Description
1 Greet arriving guests in a friendly and courteous manner, using their name
if known, welcome them to the hotel; open car/taxi and hotel doors, and
assist guests departing with cars.

2 Unload luggage carefully; directing guests to Reception area; ensure the
Luggage Porter is available for delivery of the luggage to the baggage
room.

3 Assist departing guests and patrons by opening hotel and car doors,
assisting them carefully loading their luggage, as directed by the guest.

4 Work closely with the luggage porters in the handling of guests and patrons
vehicles.

5 Assist departing guests or patrons with transportation by obtaining
taxicabs, directing them to limousines or providing them with valet
parking.

6 Provide directions or general information to guests or patrons as may be
required; aware at all times of all hotel services, hours of operation,
locations, etc.

7 Maintain the cleanliness of the entrance to the hotel.

8 Ensure the smooth flow of traffic in the entrance drive of the hotel;
prohibit unauthorised vehicles from parking at the entrance.

9 Perform tasks as delegated by the Concierge on duty to provide maximum
guest service; demonstrate a high standard of personalised, friendly and
professional service at all times

10 Notify the Chief Concierge, Assistant Concierge and/or Assistant Manager
on duty of any guest problems or complaints for immediate handling.

11 Use guest name whenever possible

12 Issue guests/visitors with the correct voucher for their cars on arrival and
arranging with the luggage porters to park the car.
