Goods Receiver

The Lansdowne Club is a private members’ Club in Mayfair, London, opening its doors to both men and women in 1935 and thriving today with over 8500 Members worldwide. Striving to be the best social, sports and residential Club in London, the amenities include: 73 bedrooms, fine dining restaurant, brasserie, café, ballroom, 6 function rooms and top of the range sports facilities including a swimming pool, steam room, squash courts, fencing, gym, studio and treatments.

Our Kitchen team at the Lansdowne Club are now seeking to recruit a new Goods Receiver.

Duties (including but not limited to):
• Follow all work & food safety rules & procedures
• Receive incoming food and drink products
• Maintain professional conduct at all times
• Check products on arrival including condition of produce and packaging
• Verify that quantities on Purchase Order match invoice
• Place products in designated fridges
• Check quality & quantity of stock on hand
• Reorganise inventory as needed
• Identify product that needs to be stocked-up
• Clean product space before stocking new item

The ideal Goods Receiver:
• Familiar with suppliers when receiving procedures (desirable)
• Able to communicate verbally in English
• Ability to lift supplies
• Able to ascend and descend stairs
• Able to squat, bend, stoop, push, kneel and reach
