We are looking for a Sous Chef to:
Take pride in what you do and genuinely care about your kitchen
Have at least 2 years’ experience in a senior position in a high-quality kitchen (ideally 1 rosette or higher)
Be experienced in high volume kitchens
Be immaculate in presentation and comfortable talking with both our guests and teams
Be passionate about using fresh, seasonal and local produce
Understand the local market
Put together and properly cost menus that suit the clientele and the brief for the pub
Be able to motivate and train junior members of the team
Be highly organised, work well under pressure, flexible approach to working hours and lead by example.
Hit financial and management targets
Have excellent working knowledge of HACCP and COSHH
Have level 3 certification in food hygiene
Have a positive approach, bringing fun and engagement at the pub and team.
