Daytime Maitre D'

The Mark by Jean-Georges in the Upper East Side Seeking Maitre D' (Breakfast & Lunch).

Must have OPEN AVAILABILITY. Gracious, positive and enthusiastic team-players are ideal!

The Maitre D is responsible for coordinating and managing all breakfast & lunch reservations. Hospitality and communication skills are necessary and required. This position will be the daytime liaison at the door and the gatekeeper with our VIP guest. Strong Open Table management is a plus! The Maitre' D is ultimately responsible for managing all aspects of the front door, guest arrival, seating and departure.

Ideal Candidates would have the following prerequisites and characteristics:

Displays a pleasant and cheerful disposition.
Able to communicate professionally and effectively with both guests and staff.
Available to work breakfast & lunch, holidays and long shifts if necessary.
Must be able to stand and or walk for long periods of time without sitting.
A desire to engage and deliver unsurpassed levels of hospitality.
