The In-Room Dining Attendant is responsible for servicing hotel guests by ensuring quick, efficient and professional service.

Responsibilities (these are not all-inclusive):
• Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guests.
• Prepare, deliver and serve food and beverage orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
• Responsible for collecting method of payment for each check; close checks in a timely manner
• Pick up trays and tables; complete overnight floor walk for tray removal
• Responsible for maintenance and cleanliness of room service areas
• Follow company grooming standards; ensure clean uniform and professional personal appearance
• Follow all company safety, sanitation and security policies and procedures
• Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and specials
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up issues
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned


Ideal Candidates would have the following prerequisites and characteristics:
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in similar position in a luxury property
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including overnight and holidays
• Have the ability to handle guest requests in a detailed manner
• Must be able to work in a high pace and dynamic operation
• Reliability is a must!



Located at the Mercer hotel, Mercer Kitchen brings a chic, sophisticated vibe to the heart of SoHo. Exposed brick walls, long banquettes, and candlelit sconces give the place a timelessly stylish, sexy, fun ambiance. Mercer Kitchen was one of the first restaurants in New York City to have a communal table, which remains popular to this day. Chef Jean‑Georges' American menu features market-driven, seasonal ingredients prepared in a simple yet elegant style, with favorites like the Tuna Spring Roll, Steamed Shrimp Salad, wood-fired pizzas, and classic Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake. There is an open kitchen, where guests can sit back and watch the show. A casual café upstairs serves breakfast and lunch, and transforms into an exciting bar/lounge at night.
