Description
We are currently seeking a passionate Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The main focus will be to provide excellent service to guests within the Bars & Lounges and to be able to develop a strong knowledge of the menu and wine list.
The Milestone Hotel and Residences, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a beautiful five star hotel located opposite Kensington Palace Gardens and close to The Royal Albert Hall. Part of Leading Hotels of the World, this property has 44 individually designed bedrooms, 12 luxury suites and 6 long-stay apartments, a classic lounge area for Afternoon Tea, Cheneston’s Restaurant (2 Rosettes) and unique Stables Bar. The hotel is renowned for delivering exceptional and attentive customer service.
Key responsibilities of the Bartender will include:
• Ensuring prompt and professional guest service adhering to company standards
• Ensuring the tables are set to the correct standards at all times
• The ability to work across all areas of the bar: drinks service, food service, drinks and cocktail preparation
• Being familiar with the menu at all times and being able to make recommendations
• Taking pride in the hotel and its Food and Beverage outlets and ensuring they remain clean and tidy
The ideal candidate for the Bartender position should:
• Be a consummate professional with a strong background in hotels delivering service at the highest level
• Have a strong passion for food and beverage
• Have worked at a similar standard of operation
• Have great guest focus and attention to detail
• Be organised while working under pressure
