Description
The kitchen is searching for a Pastry Commis Chef to join this exciting and productive kitchen brigade.
Key responsibilities of the Pastry Commis Chef will include:
• Assisting with menu development
• Assisting with the day to day running of the section
• Assisting with ordering
• Ensuring that the pastry station is kept clean, safe and hygienic at all times
The ideal candidate for the Pastry Commis Chef should have:
• Previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star Hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Good Health and Safety and Food Hygiene awareness
• Good knowledge of using a wide range of kitchen equipment
• Communicate effectively in English
• Be positive, proactive, reliable and have a flexible attitude
