Role:  

The Director of Sales & Revenue role is perfect for a sales and revenue supremo to make their own and one that will develop as the group’s ambitious expansion plans unfold. 

You will lead the sales, revenue, distribution, and reservations team to drive results whilst upholding brand values. You will have an analytical mind and be ready for a challenge. You will already have a solid background of growing & maximising revenues across a multi property business and use your expertise and knowledge to make The Other House a significant commercial success. You will need to be able to embrace the different Major Market Segments that The Other House operates in, namely Long (183+ nights), Extended (14-182 nights) and Transient (<14 nights) and the different strategies that are required to deliver them, to meet our objectives. 

Essential Criteria 

  • Minimum 5 years’ industry experience as a Sales Director 

  • Must have built and developed a sales strategy and oversight over a Sales & revenue team 

  • Grown, Developed a Team to achieve goals and results impacting on the achievements of the business as a whole 

  • Exemplary commercial awareness 

  • Excellent understanding of the business travel industry including the hotel and serviced apartment sector, relocation and mobility. 

  • A tech-led mindset, owning systems and leading data driven conversations 

  • Knowledge of the markets specifically the luxury / lifestyle hotel sector 

  • Proven experience in hotel and serviced apartment openings 

  • Demonstrable leadership, motivational and management skills 

  • Excellent organisation, planning and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail 

  • Personable and articulate with natural ability to build rewarding relationships 

  • Accountable and resilient 

  • Ability to work under pressure with flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations 

  • Well informed about political and economic events in the UK and globally which may affect the UK hospitality/property market 

  • A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions 

  • Proficient in CRM Tools and Microsoft Office suite 

 

Systems/Technology: 

Experience in using the following systems would be a distinct advantage. 

  • Mews (PMS) 
  • Revinate (CRS)
  • Monday.com 
  • Hotelligence Tools
