Housekeeping Supervisor

Description

About The Other House

The Other House is a new lifestyle brand of Residents Clubs redefining the hospitality market. Effortlessly combining home comforts and apartment-style living with hotel services, residents can stay for a day or a year - think hotel meets private members club. It is cool, intriguing, bold and committed to sustainability - rather like our residents - and with everything available on The Other House app, it is their other house for as long as they are in town.

Launched in 2019, The Other House is a joint venture partnership between London Central Portfolio (LCP), leading real estate investment advisory in Prime Central London and APG, the largest pension provider in the Netherlands.  Opened in South Kensington and opening in Covent Garden in 2024, further openings are planned in central London and internationally.

Role: Housekeeping Supervisor

The Other House are looking for a dynamic and energetic Housekeeping Supervisor who has a passion for delivering impeccable cleanliness across all areas of the house, serving a mix of residents, members and guests. This individual needs to have a strong background in hospitality cleaning, with a passion for creating memorable moments through flawless attention to details and personalised resident/member service. We are looking for an individual that effectively will run the daily inspection and training with the front-line team, delivering an entrepreneurial Housekeeping operation with a strong focus on sustainability and cutting-edge technology. For us, there is ‘inside the box’, there is ‘outside the box’ and then there are our OtherHouseMates – passionate, self-driven and completely comfortable with pushing the boundaries.

About you - We are looking for someone that has:

·        a passionate, fun and enthusiastic approach to work in order to inspire and motivate the members of the team, creating an enjoyable, cohesive and supporting working environment to work within

·        an eye for detail, creating a place to remember

·        ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with The Other House residents/members

·        experience as a work leader, team leader, or supervisor in a related field

·        ideally previous housekeeping experience

·        knowledge of hygiene standards and infection control within the workplace

·        a clean, smart and professional appearance

·        a positive, engaging personality

·        good interpersonal skills

·        strong task and time management abilities

·        the right to work in UK

The Other House is for people going places and who know where they want to be - and that applies to our team too. Our OtherHouseMates are independent and discerning, with interests of their own and a desire to make a difference. As HouseMates, our positions are extensions of each other, with every role as important as the next and all departments sharing a connected perspective.

We've got three simple ways to describe what it's like in the House:

WORK YOUR WAY

LIVE YOUR WAY

GROW YOUR WAY

Supported by state-of-the-art technology instead of legacy systems, we can create a seamless and logical way of doing things from the get-go

We offer permanent contracts with fixed monthly remuneration and excellent house benefits coupled with working hours that enable a great work-life balance

We want you to exceed your expectations.  We will nurture your talent, encourage new skills and give you the tools to manage your future
