Role: Cocktail Bartender  

Remuneration package: £14.50 per hr (TRONC INCLUDED) 

Hourly contract: estimated 30-40 hours per week, based on a working weekly schedule of up to 5 days, from 7. Flexible rotas to work around your commitments and needs 

The Other House is looking for a dynamic and energetic Bartender with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional and creative beverage experiences across our unique outlets — serving a mix of residents, members, and guests.

We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, great people skills, and a love for hospitality. While previous bartending experience is important, extensive cocktail knowledge isn’t essential — what matters most is your willingness to learn, grow, and create memorable moments through outstanding guest service.

As part of our forward-thinking F&B team, you’ll be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table and embrace our focus on sustainability and innovation. You’ll work closely with the Bar Manager and Assistant Bar Manager, supporting the delivery of excellent service and assisting in the development of seasonal, sustainable beverage offerings across all outlets.

Training and development: Full and ongoing cocktail and beverage training will be provided, giving you the tools and confidence to develop your skills and knowledge.

 About you  

  • Ability to challenge the status quo with an instinct for delivering the ultimate experience, especially when under pressure 

  • Good employment history & experience in restaurant and bar environment 

  • Ability to entertain & engage with residents/members whilst serving drinks 

  • Keen interest in hospitality, good product knowledge about spirits and classic cocktails, a desire to learn and develop with us 

  • Great command of English – both verbally and written 

  • Passionate and hard-working attitude, with a desire to make The Other House team proud 

  • Ability to retain information 

  • Ability to share and follow The Other House values 

  • Ability to combine honesty, integrity, and reliability with a positive attitude  

  • Ability to find solutions to and overcome= challenging situations in The Other House manner with professionalism 

  • Experience with a POS system 

  • Approachable, professional attitude with an eye for attention to detail 

  • Ability to be constantly vigilant for opportunities to upsell and increase revenue for The Other House 

  • A cheeky and confident character –someone who will get on with everyone! 

  • A clean, smart and professional appearance
