We are a bold, award-winning business who pride ourselves in giving our chefs the freedom to create premium, seasonal menus that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment.  We run friendly, welcoming, and positive kitchens with high standards; always striving to be the best we can be.


We are looking for a Head Chef to join the family. 


Located in the heart of Chew Magna, The Pelican sits on the edge of the Mendips surrounded by beautiful Somerset countryside. Inside, the cosy bar and dining area with log fire is the perfect spot during the winter, while our spacious garden comes alive in the warmer months.

Choose from a delicious seasonal menu with a focus on local produce and traditional pub classics, a selection of local Butcombe beers, spirits and cocktails behind the bar, and wood-fired pizza to eat-in or takeaway throughout the summer.
