Wedding Co-ordinator

Located on the Roseland Peninsula, close to St Mawes and Truro, The Rosevine is a 16 room boutique apart-hotel offering a relaxed and friendly seaside holiday. Well known as the ‘Big House by the Sea’ the team at the Rosevine are a close-knit family working extremely hard to exceed the expectations of families, couples and weddings guests alike.

Location: Rosevine, NR Portscatho Truro, Cornwall, TR2 5EW

Your role:

  • Conducting initial consultations with couples to discuss the wedding packages available, the idea type of event desired, and their wedding budget.
  • To fully understand the pricing structure and event offering to ensure opportunity is maximised during peak and off-peak periods.
  • Communicating with couples to discuss wedding details, including venue options as well as entertainment, catering, and decoration preferences. Ensuring that this is documented at all times.
  • To have an in-depth knowledge and database of key competitors to the hotel offering along with their strengths and weaknesses versus ours which updated on a regular basis.
  • Maximise each event sale by ensuring optional extras (add ons) are upsold to clients where possible.
  • To attend relevant trade fair/exhibitions/networking events and company events as requested by your Line Manager
  • Scheduling meetings with couples to view our wedding venue and have a good relationship with local suppliers, such as florists, photographers, caterers etc.
  • Arranging any necessary hired wedding supplies and equipment to be transported to the wedding venue in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring that clients' wedding gifts and personal property are packed away and secured in an assigned vehicle or storage room.
  •  Monitoring all ‘on the day’ Wedding Day activities to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

Standards and Quality service:

  • Maintain and strive to improve standards of service
  • Maintaining a friendly and efficient service style.
  • Monitoring and keeping a close relationship with all other departments to ensure guests receive a high standard of service
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the workplace
