The Roxy Hotel is an electric destination for music, film, and art, located on the border of SoHo and TriBeCa. We employ a close-knit group of natural-born entertainers, supreme go-getters and masters of hospitality. Really, you ought to see us make someone’s drink, bed or day. The Roxy Hotel is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to manage the service of the bar, lounge, room service and the front and back of house. You’ll be working the floor a lot, which also has a rock star perk: each night, you’ll hear live jazz from some of the industry greats.

Responsibilities include:
•Floor presence, ensuring service standards are consistent
•Training and evaluating team members in their roles
•Conducting effective pre-shifts
•Scheduling and payroll
•Inventory and purchasing
•Building strong rapport with guests

Requirements:

•Must be able to work AM & PM shifts
•Energetic and detail-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
•Computer savvy, familiarity of OpenTable and Micros is a plus
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with knowledge of Excel and Word are required
•Able to work effectively with all department managers
•An interest in style, music, fashion, art, and/or or dining and nightlife (pertaining to NYC)
•Creative problem solver
