Description
We are currently recruiting for a naturally welcoming Door Person to join our Concierge team.

As Door Person you will always be ready to greet our guests with a smile, while offering great knowledge of the hotel and local area. If you love making guests feel special and are seeking an opportunity that offers endless learning and development, this position is the one for you!

The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning five star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s Victoria and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites, as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant, The Curry Room Restaurant, The New York Bar, The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar, as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.

A clean UK driving license is essential for this position.

Key responsibilities of the Door Person will include:

• Greeting and welcoming guests
• Assisting with taxis, luggage and valet parking for guests
• Ensuring that the front area of the hotel is clean and tidy at all times
• Assisting guests with directions to and from the hotel and to local attractions
• Being fully aware of security at all times

The ideal candidate for the Door Person position should:

• Have experience in a customer facing role
• Have good knowledge of local attractions and seasonal events
• Portray professional standards at all times
• Have a friendly, enthusiastic and flexible attitude
• A clean UK driving license is essential for this position
• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
