Description
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Meeting & Events Sales Manager to join the dynamic Events team within a luxury hotel that offers fantastic growth and development opportunities.

The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, part of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection, is a stunning five star deluxe property located in the heart of London’s Victoria and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites, as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant, The Curry Room Restaurant, The New York Bar, The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar, as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.

Key responsibilities of the Meeting & Events Sales Manager will include:

• To ensure a smooth running of the Conference and Banqueting department
• To respond to daily enquires and put together proposals
• To process function sheets and communicate with the relevant departments
• To follow up with wedding enquires and bookings
• To nurture and maintain relationships with clients, both corporate and agency-based

The ideal candidate for the Meeting & Events Sales Manager should:

• Have previous experience within a similar role
• Be able to motive and lead a team
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Be able to work well under pressure
• Have good organisation and time management skills
• Have fluent written and oral English
