Maintenance and upkeep of all final finishes on guest rooms, public areas, back of house and externals. To resolve immediately guest concerns, as well as the underlying causes to increase guest satisfaction.

• Maintenance of paint and paper throughout the entire hotel.
• Minor works as directed.
• Ensure that all carpets and windows are clean and safe.
• Maintain highest standards for the maintenance and safe operation of issued tools and equipment.
• Submit to Director of Engineering monthly stock sheets.
• Other duties as directed by Engineering Supervisor/Manager as required
• Adherence to strict grooming and appearance standards:

o Engineering colleagues are required to wear a black brogue style safety shoe with the appropriate toe protection that will be selected and supplied by the Hotel.
o When carrying out dirty works, Engineering colleagues will be expected to wear a boiler suit, apron or disposable overall depending the task, that will be supplied by the Hotel to protect uniforms.
o Decorating colleagues are required to wear a white bib and brace, a white shirt and overshoes to protect their work shoe when decorating, all selected and provided by the Hotel.
o Engineering colleagues are expected to where a clean Hotel supplied uniform each day and will be expected to change their uniforms should they become unacceptably dirty due to works carried out.
o All Engineering colleagues are expected to wear Hotel provided blue over shoes when entering a guest room for any reason.
o Engineers are required to wear the appropriate gloves for the given task, provided by the Hotel when working in any area of the building and are expected to remove the gloves when in transit in guest related areas
