We are The Seafood Bar. We're a family-owned business, with 4 locations in Amsterdam & Utrecht and last year we opened our first UK restaurant, in Dean St. Soho.

About The Position

Know a thing or two about wine and cocktails? Love making recommendations and seeing guests find their new favourite drink? Then you could be the Bartender we’re after.

Whilst having experience is a bonus, what will really set you apart from other candidates is the way you present and how you interact with guests. We're looking for someone who is responsible, enthusiastic and friendly - we want everyone to leave the restaurant smiling!

You’ll be responsible for serving the guests seated at the bar, advising about wines and cocktails, taking orders, preparing them and ensuring their quality and prompt service. You’ll also be supporting your colleagues in service who look after the guests at the table. 

What We Ask From You:

• You live in London and have a legal right to work in the UK ;

• Experience in a similar position is a plus;

• Sufficient knowledge of beverages (knowledge of wines is a plus);

• Flexibility: you don’t have a 9 to 5 mentality and you don’t mind working on weekends;

• The ability to speak and write English fluently.

Originating in Holland, The Seafood Bar was started in 2012 by the De Visscher family, Burgundian fishmongers, passionate only about the freshest and tastiest seafood.

The Seafood Bar is for people who enjoy life! You can indulge in oysters and cocktails, or just go for the simple fish & chips. We want to offer our guests a fantastic experience in a cosy, casual setting. It's our dream to provide our guests incredible seafood, and we're living that dream.

Sustainability is something the family feels very strongly about. Together with the suppliers, MSC and MSA certified fish is selected whenever possible. The kitchens also ensure that the whole fish is used, so there is no waste.

We have 250 staff working for us in Holland and we are excited to be welcoming London based staff into our family!
