Senior Waiter/Waitress

As Senior Waiter or Waitress you’ll work as part of our restaurant team and will be the link between our waiters and supervisors. You’ll pass on your knowledge and skills to the team through on the job training and you’ll wow our guests by creating excellent guest experiences.

If you’ve seen our menu you’ll know there’s a lot to learn so you’ll need a passion for food and the ability to offer outstanding service. In return we’ll support your development and you’ll have the opportunity to take part in supplier visits, master classes and training.

We have a range of opportunities available from part time, full time, permanent and seasonal. The roles will begin to start once we are able to re-open the restaurant.    

WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO

- All the usual things like taking orders and serving food and drink
- Interacting with guests and demonstrating excellent customer care
- Effectively communicating with other members of the team and giving feedback on performance
- Completing opening and closing checks and recording deliveries and wastage
- Welcoming new starters and supporting with their training


KEY SKILLS

- Communicating effectively with colleagues
- Demonstrating strong company and menu knowledge


The Seafood Restaurant was the first restaurant opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975. The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow is famous for establishing an international reputation for the very freshest fish and shellfish, often landed on our doorstep. In the centre of the restaurant is a Seafood Bar where guests can enjoy watching chefs assembling platters of oysters, langoustines and sashimi.
