Description
The Stand- a high-volume restaurant, bar and comedy club is seeking an organized, detail-oriented and personable reservationist. This is not your average hostessing job; in addition to maintaining our restaurant reservation system, you'll also be in charge of handling the box office for one of the most renowned comedy clubs in the country. If you enjoy stand up comedy, have rock star administrative AND customer service skills, plus thrive in fast-paced environments and remain calm and graceful under pressure, we would like to meet you. NYC hospitality experience is required, as is availability on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings to work a total of 2-3 shifts per week.


Responsibilities:
-Managing all in-bound comedy club and restaurant reservations and guest inquiries through numerous reservation platforms
-Helping maintain the organizational flow of our busy bar, restaurant and comedy club on a day-to-day basis
-Providing top-notch customer service and a high level of professionalism to a wide variety of customers, comedians and regular guests
-Overseeing floor management and placement of guests in the bar/dining/show rooms.
-Handling in-person ticket sales and box office administrative tasks
-Communicate special requests and needs of guests with staff and managers
-Complete additional tasks at the request of a manager along with End of Shift Responsibilities
-Managing ticket inventory on a day-to-day basis
-Helping to update our Rewards program and database

Requirements:
-Availability Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and for occasional brunch shifts.
-Proficient in Google Docs
-Ability to multi-task is a must!
-Must remain calm and detail-oriented under pressure
-Experience in high-profile entertainment venues or restaurants a plus
-OpenTable and Resy experience
-Warm, welcoming demeanor with a great sense of humor
- Excellent verbal, writing & telephone skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with guests on numerous channel
-NYC Hospitality experience necessary
