Monday - Friday work schedule
Approximately 11am - 9pm
Responsibilities and duties (include but not limited to)
- monitoring labor hours
- uphold and improve the presentation and quality of product we currently serve
- be the point person for solving problems in real time
- kitchen lead for health department issues
- execution of rotating specials in the dining room and cafe
- organizing service for private events
Requirements
- DOH certification
- Prior kitchen management experience in an upscale restaurant
- a passion for keeping up with what's happening in NYC restaurants (and beyond)
- ability to work weekend parties when applicable (advance notice will be provided)
- ability to document and tweak recipes
- ordering and properly maintaining inventory
