About the role
A new and exciting opportunity exists for a Digital Analytics Manager to join TheWorks.co.uk where you will lead on all digital insights and reporting across a vast & expanding digital estate, and present findings and recommendations to multiple stakeholders in the business to drive performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a digital analytical framework using a data first approach on digital analytics
  • Provide detailed customer first insights, enabling senior stakeholders to make informed decisions on a variety of matters such as digital sales and marketing performance, website optimisation, projects and strategies.
  • Understand business priorities and challenges and conduct BAU and project analytics, provide insights to complex relationships, trends, and data patterns to support the ongoing needs of the business.
  • Surface actionable insights regarding visitor pain points on TheWorks.co.uk website including broken journeys using digital data solutions for remedial action.
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI tracking to diagnose onsite customer journey and identifying where improvements can be made.
  • Promote Digital measurement and analytical best practice to deliver the commercial plans for all Digital channels.
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to set up Omnichannel Campaign effectiveness insights and attribution modelling.
  • Review Digital marketing channels performance and where improvements need to be made through Optimisation Analysis for a better ROI.
  • Manage optimisation of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Salesforce Reporting and other internal reporting systems.
  • Ensure data is accurate and fit for purpose, working with IT, developers and 3rd Parties to configure, test and update configurations.
  • Be the subject expert in digital analytics, be able to provide answers to ad Hoc questions and be a coach for others to learn how to use dashboards and access reports.
  • Day to day interaction with the digital team workload and support of team members to help them achieve their objectives and successfully deliver digital activity to the business.

Desired Experience

  • Experience in digital analytics from a reporting & insights perspective using various digital analytics suites.
  • Understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation from using various data points.
  • Understanding of online conversion funnel including path to purchase and customer journeys.
  • Strong understanding of customer experience and behaviour online.
  • Confident communicator, you will be the trailblazer for data driven decisions and be able to explain complicated terminology in simple terms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential, along with an ability to manage a varied workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Inquisitive by nature, you will need to be able to solve problems and have a passion for data.
  • Experience with digital analytics, using a variety of tools such as Google Tag Manager,
