Description

Imports & Bookings Administrator

Reporting to the Import Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of a busy Inbound Supply Chain department.   The team will trust and rely on you to arrange all inbound deliveries, maintain accurate data on a variety of systems and often be the main point of contact between several departments; Supply Chain, Commercial Team and our DC Team.

Ideally you will have previous experience within a busy, high paced supply, shipping or transport environment.

About the role

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all orders are booked into our DC accurately and within the required timeframe in order to reach our stores promptly
  • Working with our Freight Forwarders both in the UK and Far East to ensure all imports reach the business efficiently, accurately and most cost effectively.
  • Supporting the outbound Stock team with promotional priority orders, communicating at all times of delays
  • Swiftly replying to all duty classification queries and retrieving accurate information promptly
  • Maintaining records for auditing and completing due diligence i.e. quality checks on freight forwarder classifications
  • Completion of landing cost, ensuring all products are classified correctly and accurately.
  • Helping to plan ahead to ensure intake is receipted and balanced into the business
About You

·         Experience of working in a busy, fast paced environment

·         Strong administration skills

·         Computer literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft systems, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

·         Ideally experience of using a PO shipping system
