Host

- Hosts are the guest’s first and last impression of The Counter®.
- Hosts are responsible for many items but most importantly for greeting and seating guest. They coordinate seating to maximize dining room occupancy while doing everything possible to avoid, or at least minimize, a wait list.
- Hosts are also responsible for bussing and resetting tables, pre-bussing tables throughout the shift, keeping the dining room / rest rooms clean, menu counts,helping the Servers run fresh, hot food when needed. This role is secondary and for locations that do not have a designated busser scheduled.
- Hosts are responsible for knowing our food and the presentations in the event a guest inquires about ingredients.
