Description

The Guardsman

The hotel has an opportunity available for a Guest Experience Host.


Your duties will include:

  • Reception duties including guest arrival and departure, following all hotel and company standards of performance and
  • guest care initiatives.
  • Ensuring all guest reservations requests are completed and guests are allocated rooms and requests as per pre-arrival
  • information.
  • Find intriguing ways to deliver exceptional guest care, ensuring any customer issues are resolved quickly, efficiently and
  • professionally.
  • Ensure all guest transactions are completed following the hotel and company finance guidelines.
  • Ensure all cash banking is completed following hotel and company finance guidelines.

The rewards of the job:
  • Holiday entitlement for full time is 28 days per year, including public and bank holidays, increasing to 33 days with long
  • service anniversaries, pro-rata for part-time staff;

The qualities of the role:
  • A passion for surpassing guest care;
  • Minimum 2 years’ Front Office experience in a 5* environment;
  • Thorough knowledge and use of hotel PMS, preferably Hotel ProtelAir.
  • Ability to be self-directed and highly motivated.
  • Ability to work as part of a small, dedicated team.

Additional abilities would be:
  • Knowledge of 5* hotel market.
  • Working with upselling techniques.
