We currently have 7 independent, inviting modern locals in South London.
We are also opening more sites in South London right now, so this is a
brilliant chance for the right people to join us and be a key part of our
growth.

Food is at the heart of what we do. We’re not “Gastro” as such – but we do believe in fresh produce, cooked to order, as tasty as we can make it.
Back of house career progression is a real possibility for Sous Chefs that want it - our back of house people continue to develop through to Head Chefs. We also run an Apprenticeship Scheme with existing back of house colleagues taking part.

The Regent Balham is a busy modern neighbourhood local - a space with personality, all about celebrating good food, drink, sport and entertainment.
Independent, inviting and right up your street, The Regent is a pretty handsome and friendly local serving darn tasty pub food. The Regent enjoys strong food sales, has a fantastic spacious secret garden and there’s plenty of opportunities for our people to develop themselves.
The Regent is conveniently located less than a 2 minute walk from Balham over ground/tube station so is very easy to get to.
About You
Experience in a similar position preferred or if you are ready to make the step
up into a Sous Chef role, we'd love to hear from you.
Throw in your passion for fresh produce, consistent, flavoursome food, ability
to communicate clearly in English, good organisational skills, knowledge of H
& S, strong work ethic and you'll have us at hello!
Our Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in the delivery of Livelyhood’s fresh food offering that has our five Lively Ways (values) of Authentic, Daring, People, Lively and Sustainable at its very heart.
