The Green Zone is looking for a full-time Kitchen Supervisor. We are an award-winning cocktail bar and casual restaurant in Adams Morgan serving Middle Eastern food and drinks with dishes from Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, and elsewhere. We are surviving Covid and have shifted more attention to our food menu, especially take-out and delivery, and we need a kitchen supervisor to oversee kitchen affairs and cook alongside our other kitchen staff. Experience with Middle Eastern or Mediterranean cuisine is helpful but not essential.
Responsibilities include autonomously managing:
-ordering
-dish execution
-organization
-cleaning
Kitchen Supervisor will also join other kitchen staff in:
-receiving inventory
-daily prep
-cooking duties
-cleaning
Kitchen Supervisor will report directly to the general manager and owner.
