The Green Zone, opening soon on 18th St in Adams Morgan, is hiring full-time cooks. We are a cocktail bar and restaurant inspired by the flavors of the Middle East, and will be serving Middle Eastern street food (falafel, flatbreads, hummus, wings, fries, etc).

REQUIREMENTS:
-Prior commercial (restaurant/bar) cooking experience
-Understanding of all relevant food safety/health codes and procedures
-Ability to follow recipes and execute and present dishes as trained
-Ability to work late nights
-Experience with Middle Eastern cuisine favored but not required
-Experience working with dough (such as in a pizzeria) beneficial
-Food Handler's License not required but a huge plus

COMPENSATION:
-All staff will be paid as a percentage of gross revenue. Hitting our targets, kitchen staff can expect approximately $40,000 per year, with health and vacation benefits beginning after 6 months.
