Sales and Operations Coordinator ThinkFood Products

José Andrés Foods is a line of gourmet imported Spanish Foods, hand picked by Chef José.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for performing support activities for the sales, marketing and operations for José Andrés Foods. Duties include but are not limited to inventory management, customer service, sales analytics, sourcing management and compliance as well as execution of sales strategy.


MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing and Sales
• Supports Brand Director on execution of sales strategy for José Andrés products business to place gourmet foods in new retail spaces
• Supports execution of José Andrés Foods marketing strategy
• Drives customer service by managing sales orders and deliveries with existing accounts that carry JAF product line.
• Works with existing vendors on marketing campaigns to increase product presence in retail
• Conducts sales forecasting and analysis to identify new opportunities for growth within the retail/ online/ events space
• Supports in the development of manages new relationships with potential accounts to place and develop partnerships with new accounts (sample requests, price listings etc) .
• Manages sales analytics and identifies trends and opportunities for growth

Operations
• Manages inventory by coordinating with third party warehouse
• Coordinates sourcing of imported products from Spain by managing relationships with Suppliers and Third party transportation brokers to get new product in timely and cost effective manner.
• Analyzes inventory performance, identifies and implements opportunities for efficiency and cost control



Finance
• Supports accounts payable team
• Coordinates financials of entrance of containers and products and average product cost
• Supports finance team on pricing, inventory movement information at closing of the month when needed
• Works with accounts receivable team to consolidate end of month invoices

Project Management
• Coordinate project execution development and sourcing of Mercado Little Spain retail business
• Work with Brand Director in development and execution of third party e-commerce partner for development of MLS shop site.
• Will work with Brand Director in execution of projects related to licensed ventures, new market development, trade shows amongst others.

Required Skills
• Organized with good critical thinking skills
• Attention to detail
• Good problem solving skills
• Interest sales, operations and basic understanding of CPG and/or Gourmet Food Industry
• Studies in Marketing, Business Administration or related fields
• Written & spoken fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office [Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher]
• Proficiency in design and web tools [Adobe CS, HTML] a plus
• Knowledge of Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing high growth company.
