Data & Insights Analyst

Description

Third Space hosts six of London’s luxury health clubs across inspiring Central London locations. All clubs are individual in style and bound by a common philosophy; to provide outstanding fitness spaces that our members feel are their own. We are committed to ensuring outstanding quality and excellence in every area of our offering and making continuous improvements to our member experience; this is where we need you, a passionate, dedicated and professional individual with an interest in health and fitness with your own flair of originality.

With the opening of brand new, extraordinary clubs in inspiring locations across London, alongside the development and launch of brand new, market leading products and services, this is the time to come on board the Marketing team at a company that genuinely strives to be the Best in Class. We’re looking for a Data & Insight Analyst who will help us answer questions to drive our growth and enhance the experience we provide for our members.

In this brand new role, you’ll be working alongside the Systems & Data Manager and the Marketing team in analysing different data sets to help enable critical decisions to be made in order to help us build campaigns with impact and relevance.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Analysing a wide range of data sets to help inform business, marketing, member and brand strategies
• Work across all elements of the business to analyse how they are performing and present back areas for improvement
• Build reports and visualise data so teams have real time insights into performance
• Work with the marketing team and CRM manager to deliver valuable insight, understand how our members engage with our marketing activity and the effectiveness of our campaigns
• Use this data to constantly review and improve campaign performance and aid in building CRM plans and strategies
• Work with CRM manager to identify and build member segments to enable more personalised marketing campaigns
• Problem solve. We are faced with interesting challenges and opportunities as we grow. The candidate will be responsible for delivering analysis that breaks these challenges down and shines a light on opportunities
• Help define our future database structure, analytics team and approach to insight and analytics at Third Space
• Review what in-house analytics tools we are using and make recommendations to enhance the offering we have.

About you

Your personality and the ‘how’ you work is as important to us at Third Space as your skills. You’ll need to be comfortable using a wide range of analytical tools as well as have an analytical mind and be a strategic and creative thinker. You’ll be able to demonstrate how you communicate key findings and insight to senior stakeholders and peers both conversationally and in formal presentation style and you’ll be self-motivated, working decisively and using your initiative to produce fantastic work. You’ll approach everything entrepreneurially and have a track record of identifying, proposing and delivering new analytics initiatives. Not only that, you’ll be curious and have a desire to learn new skills, be an expert in your field and provide training to colleagues when needed.

In addition, the ideal candidate could have:

• Around 2-3 Years analytics and insights experience working for an established brand or agency
• Proficient SQL
• Experience of DAX and M Query
• Confident in query writing with basic understanding of modelling
• Experience of “storytelling” in a corporate context, and crafting clear, compelling messaging
• Experience of working with Microsoft Power Bi or other similar data analysis/visualisation tool
• Experience of Power Apps
• Experience of Microsoft Flow
• Familiarity with CRM tools (no specific tool preferred)

If you are successful, you’ll be joining an outstanding team of commercially astute, entrepreneurial individuals, who are passionate about building a world-class health & fitness brand; one where we genuinely put our members experience at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be a key part of our growth journey as we build and open brand new, state of the art clubs, launch new products and offerings to our members and stay well ahead of the latest health and fitness trends. We’ll pay you a generous salary and offer a discretionary annual bonus (subject to business performance). You'll also be entitled to huge discounts on our medical, Natural Fitness Food, Personal Training, Spa and Retail products and you’ll be given a complimentary group membership plus an additional group membership for somebody of your choice. In addition, we also have a wide range of benefits geared around enabling you to get more out of your life away from work, as well as pensions, cycle to work schemes and the other usual suspects.
