SUMMARY
A successful Assistant Manager lives our company’s culture and values. The Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of our restaurant, including the selection, development and performance management of employees. In addition, they oversee the inventory and ordering of food and supplies, optimize profits and ensure that guests are completely satisfied with their dining experience. The General Manager reports to the District Manager and Owner.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 2-years restaurant experience, including progressive supervisory experience.
• Legally able to work within the State and Federal guidelines.
• Valid driver's license.
• ServSafe Certified preferred.
• Self-starter; able to clarify ambiguity, make solid decisions, and create solutions in a fast-paced organization.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds to perform duties like stocking items, refilling ice or taking out the trash.
• Constant face-to-face interactions with crew members and customers.
• Safely navigate in a fast-paced café environment.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in sometimes stressful working conditions.
