Description
Vaucluse is a lifestyle venue on Park Avenue that includes two venues and experiences: Omar at Vaucluse, which has a supper club feel, and the West Room, which is a comfortable dining option with a plush velvet, garden room- like vibe set with spectacular high ceilings. Both add vibrancy back to the Upper East side and Park Avenue.
The food program is top-notch with both venues lead by Altamarea Group chefs and helmed by Chef Michael White and his team.
We are looking for an energetic and experienced General Manager for Vaucluse/Omar’s at Vaucluse. Vaucluse/Omar’s at Vaucluse has one foot in fine dining and one foot in the nightlife space. Applicants must have experience in both realms. We believe General Managers must not only set standards and implement systems to achieve them, but also work to create a culture that enhances the work experience for staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead management team through directives and goals
- Monitor and track business results and forecast respectively
- Communicate effectively across all facets and departments
- Demonstrate an emphasis on driving business while improving quality and guest retention
Requirements:
- Strong background in fine dining and knowledge of service standards
- Candidates should be highly organized, efficient, and be able to work precisely
- Ability to multitask and plan ahead
- Ability to train and encourage the restaurant staff
- Candidates should demonstrate creativity and a commitment to the brand success
