Vivat Bacchus is a celebration of South African wine and food in a bustling, working winery-style atmosphere. 

From our sustainable, seasonal menus using the highest quality ingredients to our impeccable wine list, quality is guaranteed.


Are you a creative and talented chef looking for an exciting new role with unlimited potential? Do you love good food and fine wines? Do you want to work in a kitchen where menus are changed seasonally with sustainable and organic products and producers, If so we need you!

We are a growing company and always look to promote from within rather than recruiting for senior positions externally.


● We all work in & around 40 hours per week with 2 days off, ideal for someone keen to have a good work/life balance,

● We regularly have wine training sessions and food tastings so we are constantly trying something new, discovering something different every week,

● Our menu changes seasonally so we are constantly working with different products and techniques.

● We are passionate about the food we produce using some of the best seasonal and organic products along with a zero waste and nose-to-tail mentality

Job requirements:


  • Have previous experience within the role you are applying for
  • Have a passion for creating top-quality seasonal dishes
  • A strong mindset to zero waste food production 
  • An open mind willing to learn new techniques and develop, as well as share experiences. 
  • Be Hands-on, willing to help out across every aspect of the kitchen
