Description

Overview: Develops and executes EU Supply Chain strategy, delivering a competitively priced, safe, and uninterrupted supply of all food and paper that meets or exceeds established brand standards. Directs EU SCM team, ensuring that highly effective supply chain protocols are implemented globally including Category Management, Forecasting, Inventory, Risk Mitigation, Communication & Program Management. Successfully manages EU supplier relationships and negotiates cost competitive contracts by leveraging economies of scale across the EU region.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop an EU supply chain infrastructure with a base of suppliers capable of leveraging economies of scale across the region. Execute Supply Chain initiatives that lower food cost and restaurant level profitability on a timely basis.
  • Category Management – Develop team capability around managing core product categories including category profiles, RFP process, cost formulas and contracting. Adaption of QSCC/North America programs as appropriate.
  • Improve and develop supply chain standard operating procedures including new market entry process, new supplier development process, new product implementation process, supplier evaluation process, and franchise supply chain training.
  • Ensure all distribution systems are cost optimized and meet quality and service standards.
  • Develop technology solution for Eu supply chain needs. 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, or related fields. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience overseeing international procurement, distribution importing/exporting, commodity markets and inventory management for a multinational food brand, preferably in QSR category.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse array of suppliers, distributors, franchisees, and internal partners. 
  • Experience in building an inclusive team environment and leading a team including remote employees. Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop team members.
  • Advanced skills in project and process management.
