Front of House Team Member


Description
Wild is a thriving restaurant in Downtown LA. We serve mindfully prepared entrees, cold-pressed juices, warm elixirs, activated smoothies, a variety of coconut ice cream, raw pastries and much more. All items are gluten-free, dairy-free, and organic. With the exception of our quinoa, everything is raw and cooked at or under 118 degrees to preserve vital nutrients and enzymes. We prepare our food using raw techniques, such as using food processors, blenders, and dehydrators.


Our crew members get to work directly with guests that are seeking better food options, and we have the amazing opportunity to show them the benefits and improvements that can come with living a plant-based lifestyle. The FOH position is responsible for guiding customers through the menu and the concept of the restaurant, cash handling, and food prep whether you are working on the Salad side or Remedy Bar.


We are seeking: FOH Line Cooks


Requirements:

Must be able to communicate and follow directions well. Must be able to accurately manage cash transactions and feel comfortable learning how to use our POS system. Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes. Ability to follow, read recipes and presentation specifications properly. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Ability to function as part of a team. Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Have a sense of urgency. Have attention to detail. Assist in cleaning and organizing kitchen items and equipment. Assist in cleaning and organizing kitchen/FOH stations. Ensure station and set-ups are complete. Perform various side duties as assigned by the Manager. Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of display / prep areas and servicing equipment. Must be servsafe certified.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for authentic, motivated and hard-working individuals. Being vegan/plant based and knowledgeable of superfoods, herbs, and ancient medicine is a plus, but not necessarily a requirement for employment with our team. Previous experience with food handling and customer service is.
