Wurstkuche Restaurant DTLA is looking for a security guard to work Friday through Monday from 6:30pm to 3am at this popular bar establishment! (a fifth day could be possible *more hours* on Thursday night)

Candidates are REQUIRED to be:
At least 21 years of age
Registered Guard through BSIS with active Guard Card
Proven work experience as a Security Guard
Knowledge of public safety and security procedures
Some required skills are:
Be sharp and responsive
Ability to stay focused while working independently
Report-Writing Skills
Hospitable and great people skills
Observant
Great things to have:
STAR Training Certified
Sexual Harassment Certified
High School Degree or GED Certificate (some college preferred but not required)
Comfortable starting conversations and ending them
Physical Requirements
Able to stand at least 8 hours
Able to lift 50+ lbs
Dress Code:
Required Identifying uniform
Responsibilities:
Ensure a high level of hospitality and safety by maintaining an inviting safe/secure environment. This includes but is not limited to:
Community safety:
Keep restaurant queue orderly, sidewalks clear and passable.
Direct loiterers and pan-handlers away from guests
Closing patrol of neighborhood for graffiti and vomit
Manage loud and boisterous groups and patrons outside
Serve as community liaison and alert neighborhood BID of suspicious neighborhood activities
Business Safety:
Continuous patrol of perimeters and interior for potential safety and security risks
Identify and address intoxicated guests
Identify and address underage guests attempting to consume or purchase alcohol
Serve as contact with law enforcement and assist them in their investigations
Escort patrons or employees to cars during late hours
Lock down business at end of operations
Assist in closing patio at 11PM every night
Peacefully intervene and deescalate in any guest or staff-related conflicts
Guest Services:
Greet and direct guests to bar or kitchen entrance
Open doors for guests
Give out menus and answer basic questions
Arrange for taxi's or ride-shares when needed
Direct guests to other current 'hot spots' of entertainment in the immediate area
Engage with all guests in a hospitable manner
