Description

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

This is a newly created role that assumes responsibility for the transactional accounting, including daily processing of bills, the preparation of payments, reconciliation of bank accounts.

Key responsibilities

Responsibilities of this role include:

·         Processing and management of the accounts payable function, including processing bills, preparation of payments, reconciliation of accounts payable and answering business queries.

·         Preparation of cash payments and transfers

·         Management of Expensify for the US business

·         Accounts receivable collections

·         Recording of cash receipts and payments into the accounting system

·         Daily reconciliations of all bank accounts

·         Monthly reconciliations of vendor accounts

·         Fixed asset record keeping and accounting

·         Prepayment record keeping and accounting

·         Assist in the period close and management reporting generation

·         Provide/gather documentation for auditors

·         Provide finance support to management as requested

·         Payroll assistance, as required

·         Assistance with local city based and state-based tax and statutory filings

·         Assist with budgeting and forecasting, as required

·         Provide backup support to other finance team roles

·         General accounting duties as required

Required skills, attributes, and experience

We're looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our team. You will come with:

·         Experience in using ERP accounting systems. COMPEAT experience preferred but not essential.

·         Experience in Restaurant or Hospitality Accounting preferred,

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Strong computer literacy particularly in Excel

·         Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

·         A high level of attention to detail

·         Experience in providing a focused service to both internal and external stakeholders

·         Ability to understand and become proficient with new software and systems

·         Great organizational and time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

·         Ability to work independently and in a team
