Description
Gallatin Gateway Inn in alliance with the Yellowstone Club is now accepting applications for an Assistant Inn Caretaker for our GGI Employee Housing Division. Assistant Inn Caretakers are responsible for the most important aspect of a resident's stay at Gallatin Gateway Inn – cleanliness, minor maintenance, basic property management and various preparations within Employee Housing at GGI. If you are a dedicated, hardworking, detail-oriented individual, then you will want to consider joining our team. We carry out our duties in a very historical Inn in Gallatin Gateway.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Job Functions:
- Must work weekends
- Clean the Inn in strict accordance with Gallatin Gateway Inn Cleaning Standards.
- Complete small maintenance repairs when appropriate.
- Complete Stewarding tasks in the Kitchen and Dining Room to assist our GGI F&B team
- Operate with various team members to achieve an exceptional level of efficiency and quality as they relate to housekeeping services.
- Must be able to follow instruction and meet deadlines established by supervisors and managers.
- Be able to converse with the residents at a high level, being very cognizant of their needs and being able to follow through on meeting those needs.
- Ensures that all work is carried out in a consistent, professional, timely and cost efficient manner.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times.
- Ability to effectively assess residence issues and resolve or coordinate the issue in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain proper control of materials and supplies
- Ability to efficiently conduct quality work as a solo member as well as a team
- Be willing to carry out any and all tasks required to bring all areas to a level of cleanliness and preparedness that meets Gallatin Gateway Inn standards.

Nonessential Job Functions:
- Willingness to work a varied schedule and maintain flexibility.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
- Maintain an excellent attendance record, rarely absent from work.

SUMMARY OF EXPECTATIONS OF THIS POSITION:
- Adheres to Yellowstone Club’s policies and procedures;
- Performs duties as workload necessitates;
- Maintains a positive and respectful attitude;
- Communicates regularly and effectively with all employees, supervisors, managers & HR Team;
- Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload;
- Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position;
- Meets departmental productivity, organization and consistency standards;
- Complies with laws, ordinances and regulations governing employment law; and
- Performs work in a safe and high quality manner.

PERFORMANCE FACTORS:
- Attendance/ Punctuality and Dependability: Depended upon to report to work at the scheduled time, is seldom absent from work, and keeps unplanned absences to a minimum. Employee follows company policy of reporting/planning absences and going through the correct channels to request time off. Completes work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner, is conscientious about assignments and deadlines.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Ability to help and share knowledge or expertise with others. Responds and adapts positively to new ideas, requests, and/or changing situations. Provides meaningful feedback and responds well to constructive criticism.
