Warehouse Receiving Assistant


Description
The purpose of the Warehouse Receiving Assistant is to receive, organize, safeguard, store and facilitate delivery of retail and like merchandise across multiple departments. The position is currently located in Yellowstone Club’s Bozeman warehouse location.

Major Responsibilities
• Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
• Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
• Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
• Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.


Essential Job Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Work with company department managers to understand central receiving needs and to issue (and track) purchase orders for retail product and other assigned merchandise (i.e. uniforms, rental merchandise and other special orders).
• Work with warehouse staff to strategically organize and place inventories in the central warehouse.
• Work with warehouse staff to properly receive and maintain physical inventories.
• Understand all aspects of the company’s inventory management with specific attention to physical and virtual inventory locations.
• Receive product into the perpetual inventory tracking system (TEI).
• Work with Accounting staff to identify and resolve, with product vendors, any and all issues related to quantities received, agreed upon pricing and other inventory invoicing discrepancies.
• Load and unload delivery trucks for the purpose of receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.
• Occasionally deliver a variety of items to Yellowstone Club recipients for the purpose of distributing items from internal or external sources.
• Drive vehicles (e.g. truck, van, forklift, etc.) for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated sites.
• Conduct full-cycle counts semi-annually and conduct partial-cycle counts monthly. Analyze physical variance reports resolving discrepancies and making inventory adjustments as needed (with Accounting oversight)
• Properly control inventory transfers between/among locations both physically and in the perpetual system.
• Clean warehouse for the purpose of maintaining a safe and sanitary work area.
