Description
The purpose of the Dishwasher / Steward is to maintain the kitchen and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary manner by following the cleaning schedules and adhering to the Health & Hygiene Regulations and Company policy and procedures.
~Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, and miscellaneous smallwares with commercial dishwasher or three
compartment sink
~Place clean dishes or cooking equipment in designated storage areas
~Maintain kitchen work and prep areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly condition
~Follow proper cleaning routines for serviceware, equipment, floors, etc.
~Follow proper use and cleaning of all dish room machinery.
~Ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
~Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
~Informs and/or updates the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner
